I loved that he was able to show me different poses to do and how to stand because I always have trouble with that in pictures. He made the shoot fun and was engaging and kind. I absolutely loved the photos and the way that I was able to access all of them super quickly. If clothing was out of place, he noticed it. If someone had a forced smile, he made it genuine. The venue he chose gave multiple choices for a wide range of posses. Nathanael was very responsive and timely in returning our photos. It is quite a process to get five children and my wife and I ready for family photos. The outfits, the schedule to name a few. When all is said and done, and the photos came in, how grateful we were that we selected Nathanael Tenney Photography.

From the very beginning we had a lot of fun and were able to talk, joke, and he also suggested I play my own music. He even let me borrow his belt! Everything felt very personalized, even when being instructed how to pose it all felt natural and I was never uncomfortable. Throughout the shoot I was also able to look at some of the photos to make sure they came out how I wanted, and they were perfect! There was never a questionable moment and I was also encouraged throughout the shoot to share any of my personal ideas or comments. It was easily the best photoshoot experience I’ve had and I would definitely do it again!

Nathanael did a wonderful job shooting our family photos. He asked great questions prior to our appointment so he would know what I wanted out of the photo shoot, my style and what was most important to me...even helped just hours before the shoot with a wardrobe crisis. During the shoot he made it fun and comfortable. Even my teenage daughter said it was fun having her personal photo taken! When we received our photos my heart was so happy, he really captured who we are as a family. We will continue to use him!

No one wants to look like a wet dog in their photos so if it looks like it's going to rain, snow, hail or some other weather catastrophe, we'll be in touch via email or phone to reschedule.
What do we do if it rains?
The sooner the better! Weekends tend to fill up pretty quickly especially during the spring and fall, so the sooner you reach out to us, the more likely you are to get your desired date! To reserve your date, a contract as well as a deposit is needed to reserve your date.
How far in advance should we book?
After your deposit, you will receive access to my styling guide. The guide gives suggestions and tips for every member of the family.
What should we wear?
Within a few weeks of your session, you'll receive a link to a digital gallery that will allow you to download high resolution images.
The gallery is also set up to make ordering prints, canvases and other keepsakes.
